Why oh why did no one warn me about being a mother to three? I mean, really...someone could have told me that having three children under the age of four would produce some trying times, at least! Would it have been so hard to tell me that all at once I could have a tantrum throwing three year old, a two year old crying "hold me", and a newborn wanting to be consoled...and how hard it would be to find a way to do all three things at once?
Oh, and what about the sleepless nights? No one reminded me what it was like to wake up all night (or sometimes never go to sleep) with an infant. No one reminded me what it's like to walk around like a zombie all day from the lack of sleep. Where were all these people?
LOL...of course I'm kidding. I was told over and over how hard it would be and what a juggling act it would become, and boy was everyone right! While we are having a wonderful time loving our new addition and watching our older two love her as well, we are tired and laugh at ourselves for having three under four. It's a journey we look forward to, but we also look forward to sleep!
